Privacy Policy

Vemotu: Cine Craft — effective 22 August 2026

Vemotu: Cine Craft is a free app provided at no cost and intended for use as is. This page explains what the app does and does not do with your information. The short version: the app has no user accounts, and the videos, artworks and playlists you create in it stay on your device. The app relies on a small number of third-party services, listed below, which operate under their own privacy policies.

Information We Collect

We do not ask you for personal information and we do not operate a server that stores it. There is no sign-up and no login, and nothing you create in the app is sent to us.

The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, such as device and usage data for advertising, analytics and crash reporting. Those services are listed under Third-Party Services below, each with a link to its own privacy policy.

Data Stored on Your Device

The following is written to the app's private storage on your device only, and is removed when you delete the app:

Videos you import, together with the trims, filters, subtitles, and music tracks you apply to them
Pixel artworks you create and save
Trailer playlists you build
Your artwork statistics, calculated on the device from the artworks you have saved

None of this content is uploaded anywhere. It is not backed up to a server we operate, and we have no way to read it. The third-party services listed below never receive it.

Permissions the App Requests

Photo library — used only when you choose a video or a photo to work on. The app copies the item you selected into its own storage; it does not browse, scan, or upload your library.
Files / Documents — used only when you pick a subtitle file (.lrc) or a music track to add to a video. Only the file you select is read.

Third-Party Services

The app makes read-only requests to The Movie Database (TMDB) to show trailer listings, posters, and title details, and it plays trailers through the official YouTube player embedded in the app. Neither carries account or profile data from the app, but as with any network request they receive standard technical information such as your IP address and device type. The app may also use Google services for advertising, analytics and crash reporting, which collect device and usage data of their own. Each of these services is governed by its own privacy policy:

The app does not stream, host, or provide access to full movies or TV shows.

Log Data

When an error occurs in the app, data and information may be collected on your phone through the third-party products listed above, in the form of Log Data. This Log Data may include your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app at the time, the time and date of your use of the service, and other statistics. It does not include the videos, artworks or playlists stored in the app. If you report a problem by email, only what you choose to write to us is shared.

Cookies

The app itself does not use cookies. However, the embedded YouTube player and the third-party libraries listed above may use cookies or similar identifiers to collect information and improve their services, under their own privacy policies.

Security

Because the content you create never leaves your device, it is protected by your device's own security — the passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and iOS app sandboxing that keeps other apps from reading our app's storage. For anything handled by the third-party services above, we rely on their own security measures. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The app and this site may link to services we do not operate, such as TMDB, YouTube and the Google services listed above. We have no control over their content, privacy policies, or practices, and we encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Children's Privacy

This service does not address anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we delete it immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take the necessary action.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any change will be posted on this page with a new effective date, so please review it periodically.
